Edit Home Page

If you click the Edit Navigation link, you will see what your site looks like in its default form after it has been created by headquarters. There are three main areas you will want to edit, the Custom Content Module, the Member Spotlight and the Announcements.

The Navigation/Content page is the backbone of your site. Each folder on the right represents a page on your site, and the content items within each page folder represent the content that is on each page.

In the example below, you can see we have the Home folder highlighted and that there are 5 separate content items that make up the home page.

The numbers adjacent to each content item represent which column they will appear in. So the "Welcome," "Custom Content Module," and the "Recent Member Blogs" items will all appear in Column 1 (on the left), and the others will display in Column 2 (to the right). You will only see these numbers for pages that are setup as a two-column design. If you see no numbers, that means the page is setup as a one-column layout and each content item will appear stacked on top of each other in the order they are displayed in your Content list. You can learn more about how to adjust page layouts in the advanced sitebuilder guide, but for your initial setup, let's leave everything as is.

Below, you can see how each content item appears on the actual site.
