Note: This guide will demonstrate how to include a sponsor ad on your site. If you need help setting up a sponsorship program for your chapter or division, please see the program the Michigan Division and Macomb Chapter have developed to use as a guide. In order to add a sponsor image to the home page, you need to select Uploaded Image, Type of Ad: HomeRight, insert the link where you would like the image to go to when clicked (usually the sponsor's home page), then upload the image. When you are finished, click Finished. If you need to add additional ads, click Save. If you would like your ad to appear on inside pages of your site and not the home page, you can select Type of Ad: InteriorLeft to do that. HomeRight and InteriorLeft are currently the only ad positions the IAAP Web Community supports. If you need your ad to appear on both the home page and interior pages, you will need to create two separate ads with each Type of Ad setting -- HomeRight and InteriorLeft. It is important to make sure your ads have been sized correctly before uploading them. Site ads should be 125x125px or 125x250px. An ad should not be wider than 125px or it likely will not look presentable on the site. Please be sure to let your sponsors know what the ad dimensions are before they send you an ad.  If you would like your ads to rotate upon each page refresh, there is a Rotating Ad Service option that you can also use. Note that this will make your site ads rotate each time the page is refreshed. The ads will NOT rotate automatically without clicking on another page or reloading a page. |
